Hi People!  My name is Woody and I came to BHRA from the Gadsden shelter.  I was found as a stray.  I am about 4 years old and I weigh 45 pounds.  As a lot of Bassets do, I love to counter cruise, but if you tell me to stop, I will listen and get down.   I am not an Alfa dog at all, so I get along great with other dogs and even cats!  I am a super loving boy and I love my people!  I will follow you anywhere!  I am just a happy boy and I am always wagging my tail.   I am also crate trained for feeding time.  I do have one weird habit...I am a rock chewer.  It is clear I have had little supervision in the past and because of this I am missing both upper and lower front teeth.  I am a really sweet boy and I'll make a great addition to that one lucky family!
