Hi everyone! My name is Sylvie (or Syl for short!) I am the
sweetest, most affectionate girl you'd ever want to meet. I am a
"true basset" in every sense of the word. My favorite activity is
napping and once I am hunkered down, I won't budge...not even for dinner
or a treat! I simply adore a good tummy rubbing and am always
seeking one out. If you sit down, I would love to climb in your
lap and throw my head back for some good scratching! I really like
my people and like to stick close to them. If you are looking for
a wonderful companion, then I am your girl! I have the biggest,
sweetest eyes that will melt your heart. When the bassets I am
bunking with have a howl fest, I love to join in with them. I have
a very deep and soulful howl that makes my foster people laugh. I
get along great with dogs and cats (although I do like a good game of
chase with the kitties.) I have a very gentle
personality and take correction very well. I also do very well on
a leash! OH...and if you have a basket of toys for me, I'd love to
play with them! A good game of tug-o-war is the best! I also
like to play with the male basset I currently live with...he is a lot of
fun! So I suppose you'd like to hear a little bit about my
history...well, I was found about a year ago wondering down the road all
by myself. I was heart worm negative but I was not spayed and
clearly had a litter or two. Some nice people took me in, had me
spayed and kept me for about 1 year, but they take in a lot of dogs and
thought they would ask BHRA to help find me my new forever home.
So far I have had no accidents inside and seem to be accustomed to
living in doors. For more information on me, please contact my
foster people. I know they'd love to tell you all about my super soft
gorgeous Basset self!
