Speedy

HOMETHE BOYS

Hi Everyone!  My name is Speedy and I am happy to meet you!  I came to BHRA from a shelter in Mobile.  I had "cherry eye" in both of my eyes...but they got me some of the "surgery" and now I feel all better!  They tell me they have to give me some more of that "surgery" so I will be "fixed".  I don't know what that means...but if it gets me closer to finding my new forever home...bring it on!  I am a two year old silly boy with lots of puppy-ish antics!  I love to be loved on...and as you can tell from my pictures below, I love the little two leggers and have lots of patience...even if they stick their fingers in my eye...that is fine by me!  I just love the attention!  I am not an alpha male and I get along just fine with the crew of dogs I am currently bunking with.  I am well mannered, for the most part, but I will jump up sometimes.  I have learned to "sit", "stay" and "take it nice"...but you know us Bassets...we'll do anything you say if it means you are going to give us food!  I have no aggression and I am even sweet to the kitties.  I sure do like to talk too...just ask me a question...I'll tell you!  I do know that I won't be able to go to my new home until I am all healed up sometime in January.  Until then I am going to sit back, snooze a little, play a little, eat a little and let this kid stick his fingers in my eye a little!  It's all good!  In the mean time, why don't you call my foster mom to hear more about me!  She'd love to fill you in!

Adopted by Sean and Christy Larkin of Enterprise, Alabama!
Happy trails to you Speedy!
