Hi! My name is Skylar (it means sheltered.) I was found in
a cage one morning out behind the Montgomery Humane Society. No one knows my story
or where I came from. Why my people just threw me away, I'll
never know. I am about 3 - 4 years old and weigh about 42
pounds. I am settling into my foster home just fine and I am
getting along great with my new house mates. I really like the
man that lives here...he pets me a lot and gives me treats! My
foster parents think the way I wag my tail is hysterical because I
wag it all over the place; first around in a circle, then back and
forth, then around in a circle! When they talk to me I perk my
ears up and tilt my head...I am so cute! I don't have a bit of
alpha dog in me and I always have a smile on my face. Although
no one knows if I have ever lived inside before, I am potty
trained and have had no accidents inside. These slippery
floors make me trip sometimes which makes my foster people laugh at
me...what is that all about? The only time I am really vocal
is at meal time! I love my food and I will do a little dance
to show you how excited I am! I am really good for my
grooming. I sit still for nail cutting and I don't put up a
fuss when it's my turn in the tub...and boy is my fur soft after my
bath! My favorite place to snooze is
this comfy dog bed I found just right here on the floor! It's great!
I also don't even seem to notice the kitty cats that live here! If you are
looking for a very sweet, playful, fun-loving girl, then I am the
hound for you! Just call my foster people and they'll tell you
all about me!
