This young man was picked up from the side of the interstate, huddling with another basset, Kathleen, also on this site, trembling in fear and covered in over 90 ticks!  He's sadly malnourished, but now that he's cleaned up, and safe, he's romping and playing and eating up a storm!!  Shane is great with the other hounds he's camping out with right now, and his tail never stops wagging, he's just so happy to be safe and loved and have good food and fresh water. 

Shane was adopted by Keith and Samantha of Helena, Alabama!  Way to go Shane!
