Hi!  My name is Murray and I am a beautiful 6 year old Basset!  I was turned into a local clinic after a history of being severely "disciplined" by my previous owner.  Luckily BHRA has me now and I am having a great time and loving life!  I am not really a "morning person" and I need some time to wake up and get going.  Once I am awake, however, I am just the happiest, most playful boy in the world!  I LOVE to play tug-o-war and fetch!  I love plush toys, as many of us bassets do...especially the squeaky ones!  I get along great with both dogs and cats alike!  I am also excellent at using the doggy door.  My foster mom says that her door is on the small side and she was worried that I would not go through it...but you know what?  I do!  I am not a big eater and treats don't really appeal to me...that is how I maintain my slender figure, despite the fact that I LOVE to sleep!  It is just the best!  My foster mom says I make the best movie/TV buddy!  If you are laying around and need a pal, I am your man!  In case you did not notice, I have a very striking coat.  My brown fades into a smoky bluish grey...I just drive the girls WILD!  I am really anxious to find my very own forever home, with me as the king and getting all the love I deserve.  Do you think I could come home with you?  If so, give my foster mom a shout!  She'd love to talk to you about me!
