I came to BHRA when my military family got new orders to move and they could not take me along.  My name's Maynard and I am about 3 years old.  Just between you and me I am a very active young man.  Just sitting here for these pictures was tough because I wanted to go play!  I am bunking with a bunch of other dogs who I really like.  They are fun to play with.  I really hope that whoever adopts me has a playmate for me or even some older kids that I can goof around with.   My foster mom says I have really expressive eyes, and when she talks to me she can tell I know EXACTLY what she is saying.  Well, duh!  I do!  I especially like it when she tells me how cute I am or when she asks me if I want a treat!  Do you know what people do that I just love?  They put food on the counter!  I can just walk by and grab it.  I don't really think the people like it when I do that, though.  When all of us are eating I sometimes like to check out what the other dogs are eating.  Hey...I am just curious!  I love a nice cuddle with my foster mom (when I am not too busy running around and playing that is) and I am always happy to get some pets on the head or a chin scratch.  As a matter of fact, I don't really like it too much when that nice lady leaves the room.  I'll usually go looking for her.   My first family left me, so I am a little bit worried about people leaving.  You know what I LOVE?  Riding in the car!  I like to watch the road with you as you drive.  I also love to go for walks and I am really good on a leash!  If you want to hear more about my cute self, contact my foster mom!!
