Hi!  My name is Maci and I am pleased to make your acquaintance.  I am a mere baby, barely a year old, and I have already had a litter of pups by a greedy breeder.  I am afraid I have not been treated too well in my short life.  I have to ask you to have a little bit of patience with me because I am somewhat skittish and afraid, but every day that goes by brings me the knowledge that most folks are friendly and loving.  If you will be nice to me I will happily accept your love and attention.  I came into rescue along with my friend Elleigh (also featured here) when our breeder threatened to shoot us if BHRA didn't "get us out of there right away".  I am playful and very much a pup!  Hopefully once a little time has passed, I'll forget all about my past and really blossom!!  I'm waiting for my turn at the vet but our adoption coordinator will be happy to share what she knows about me!
