Hey Y'all! My name is Lola and I am a beautiful girl rescued in Monroe, Louisiana as a stray. The basset angel who found me made every effort to find my family, to no avail. When the vet found me to be heartworm positive, no Louisiana shelter would take me (except to put me down) so this wonderful lady contacted BHRA and sent me to these nice BHRA people. I know that I am one lucky girl and with my pretty chin up I am ready to visit the vet for my spay, then heartworm treatments so I can start my recuperation and get ready to enjoy "the good life".
