My name is Kathleen and I am about 2 years old. I came to BHRA
a very frightened little girl. I was found huddling with
another basset near a busy road. We were trying not to get hit
by those big things that kept zooming past us. We got
into a little bit of trouble and ended up with about 50 of those
little black itchy things that got stuck to our skin, I think they
are called ticks. You can just imagine how yucky we felt. Well,
thanks to these nice people at BHRA I am safe and sound with no more
black, itchy things! I love to play and get along just fine
with other dogs and I have learned the doggy door. My foster
mom says I am really sweet. I just love to cuddle up next to her
any time she has a chance to sit down. One thing I really like are
squirrels! I like to chase them and I like to bark at them and I
like to chase them up a tree. They are really fun! I am
happy to report that these BHRA people are really easy to train.
Sometimes when my food bowl is gets empty I pick it up between my teeth
and clang it on the floor to let that foster lady know she needs to give
me more food. You know what...it works! If you want to learn more about me, I am sure
my foster mom would love to fill you in!
I was adopted by the Harris' of
Haughton, Louisiana!!! Yeah for me!!!
