Hi!  My name Joe Willie and sadly I was a stray from Shelby Co. I am such a lucky boy to be off the streets and in the loving care of these fine BHRA people!  Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I will flop over for a belly rub in a heartbeat!  They are super great!  I get along fine with cats, and I do very well with the other Basset's I am bunking with, but I don't like them to crowd up on my spot and try to steal the attention of the people when they are around.  I also don't like to share my vittles with them, so for that reason I eat my dinner in my crate. I have very unique markings...check out the paw print on my right ear. That's the marking of a party-animal for sure!  Lets see...what else do you need to know about me?  Well, I am housebroken with a doggie door. I take direction very well.  If you scold me for something I have done I will listen!  I love to sleep on the couch...that is the BEST!  I am pretty quiet for a basset and I don't bark much.  I am not much of a counter cruiser or a drooler...I am just a wonderful boy to have around the house!  My foster people think I am just great!  If you'd like more info on me, please contact them!
