Jeffrey

HOMETHE BOYS

Have you ever seen such a cutie?  You know I drive the ladies crazy, don't you!  My name is Jeffrey.  I am a 3 year old puppy and I came to BHRA from a shelter.  I understand that's where a lot of my bunkmates came from.  Trust me, it is MUCH better here!  You get all the petting and love you want.  All you have to do is lay your head on the people's lap and they will pet you!  Its really great! I get along great with other dogs.  Keep this under your hat, but I even get along with cats!  Where I am living right now they have this really neat thing called a doggie door.  It is great because I can go outside and do my business whenever I want.   The thing you need to know about me is that I take verbal discipline well, and I know what "no" means.  If you just tell me to stop I will.  I might even tuck my tail between my legs when I know I have done wrong.  Don't hold my one problem against me, though.  I am a very loving boy.  Even the kitty loves me!  My foster mom says I am learning what love and trust are all about.  If you want to learn more about my handsome self contact my foster mom!
Update!  I was previously adopted and returned to BHRA in a pretty bad state.  I was half starved to death and emaciated!  I had the worst case of fleas anyone at BHRA had ever seen.  Luckily for me I was brought back to BHRA in just the nick of time!  The lady that adopted me has been taken to court and convicted of her crimes against me.  Now I am a sweet and loving healthy and happy boy once again!  Because of the fact that I was starved, it is a good idea to feed me separate from other dogs.  I might be a little protective of my food...but can you blame me?  Food is a precious thing that no one should take for granted!  Due to the fact that I have been through so much, I probably should not go to a forever home with young children.

Foster Failure!!!  Adopted by Robbie and Everett Bagby of Clanton, Alabama!  It's only the good life for you now, Jeffrey!  Congratulations All!
