Hi!  My name is Hushpuppy and I was picked up as a stray near Trafford, AL.  A kind lady saw me lying on the side of the road with my head IN the traffic lane and thought I was dead.  She went back to drag me out of the road and I jumped up and came to her!  She had to stop traffic so I wouldn't get hit!  So she loaded me up and started trying to find my owner, to no avail.  A great friend to BHRA, Janna (from GAC) brought me in, and I am happy to be safe in the care of BHRA.  I am unfortunately heartworm positive, so I am off to the vet for neuter, heartworm treatments, and the works. I'll be out of commission for just a little while but these nice BHRA people will nurse me back to health so I can strut my stuff once again!  My fur is just as soft as silk, and I am a striking big boy.  If you would like some more info on me, won't you please contact these nice folks at BHRA?
