What's up peeps? They call me
Huggie and I am about 3 yrs old! I am a skinny little dude and
I desperately need to put on some weight! I also had had a
traumatic eye injury that has left me blind in one eye. The vets
recommend that my eye be removed, but they are going to wait until I
put on some weight first. I am very playful and energetic! My
foster mom says I have learned the doggie door! I have a nice
crate to sleep in, but I prefer to sleep on the couch or in my
foster mom's chair. I will sleep at night in my crate without
wining or crying...I am a good boy! I get a long great with
other dogs, even the Doxie I am bunking with who usually does not
like the new kids on the block. I am doing pretty well with my
potty training and a swift reminder from my people sets me on the
right path if I slip up! I LOVE LOVE LOVE belly rubs and
petting and if you would let me, I'd eat my dinner right out of your
plate! Like a lot of Bassets, I love to counter cruise, but as
yet I have not successfully snatched any goodies...but it is not for
lack of trying on my part! I just wish these darn legs were a
bit longer! I have a few rough spots to get through with my eye, but
once I am all fixed up, I'll be ready to go! In the mean time, please
contact my foster mom if you'd like to learn more about
my cute little red heinie!
Adopted
by Robert Earley of Christiansted, US Virgin Islands! Have a
happy life Huggie!!
A special
thanks from BHRA to the nice folks at the BJC Shelter in Birmingham,
