Well, hello everyone! My name is Gracie and I am
pleased to meet you! Currently I am at the clinic being spiffed up as
well but I hears it's going to take me a few weeks to be all ready. I
came from a back yard breeder/puppy mill situation and was allegedly hit
by a car. The vets are still diagnosing me but have found some worms
inside me making holes in my big ole loveable heart and I am undergoing
treatment for this. Lucky for me this wonderful volunteer of BHRA keeps
a close eye on some guy's posting list named Craig's List and she found
the post where they were going to take me to the pound!! They say they
were getting rid of me cause their neighbor was shooting me with BB's
and threatening to use a shot gun next time, whatever that means. Oh
well. All I know is that I was rescued along with a Boston Terrier, some
Chihuahua's and their puppies. I hear they all went into very nice
rescues as well. I just need to get these icky worms out of my heart and
then I'll be ready to go as well! Right now I am living with a very
small poodle, two cats and a dove. I get along fine with the
poodle and we even eat together. I get along great with children
too. One day that silly bird pecked me on the nose. I really
could not do anything but just stand there! I guess I'll stay away
from it from now on! The real surprise is that one of the cats has
become my best friend. My foster mom is working with me on my
potty training. I love her to pieces and I follow her everywhere
she goes. I love people and I will make a great family dog! It was my pleasure meeting you and I
look forward to the day my forever home comes along! Adopted by Rita Scott of Pinson, Alabama! Yeah for you sweet Gracie!!!
