Hi!  I am Fred!  I am about 3 years old. I am very playful, and I like to chew on my "stuffies" and rawhides. I have taken to my crate very well and I seek it out when I am tired or feeling a little unsure.  I have become accustomed to the kitties I live with and they don't bother me a bit!  I love to spend nice days outside playing!  My foster mom used to have to literally drag me outside, but I have caught on to the fact that she WILL let me back inside in just a little bit!!  My foster mom is pleased to report that my crate training has paid off and I can sleep wherever I want at night now (love to sleep at the foot of the bed, if you'll let me) and I have not had any accidents!  I even tell her when I want to go outside!  (I am such a good boy...aren't I!)  I am playful and can sometimes be a little rough. I am pretty small for a boy at about 35 pounds.  I am great with my foster mom's kids (they are really fun) and I LOVE walks on a leash and I adore car rides. Someone taught me not to come in the dining room when people are eating, because I will sit on the border of the next room and watch even though the other dogs are all around the dining room chairs.  My foster mom thinks I am quite the gentleman.  I take treats very sweetly & I've even learned to catch them, too.  I am an all around squishy, mushy boy who would love to be your lap basset!  If you want to learn more about me, please contact my foster mom!  She'd love to tell you more about cute little me!
