Every penny donated to Basset Hound Rescue of Alabama is not only tax deductible [since we are a 501(c)(3) charity], but it ALL goes directly to helping with medical bills for the hounds!!  We do not take administrative fees!

Every dog that comes into BHRA is fully vetted, given all its vaccinations, de-wormed, heartworm tested and if positive, treated (which costs hundreds of dollars) and either spayed or neutered.  Any identified medical need is addressed.  As you may imagine, the vet bills add up quickly!

Any amount, no matter how small, helps ..... even five or ten dollars helps vaccinate a dog!!
