Dear Basset Hound people.
My name is Buttercup, nickname Butters, and I am a super sweet and
loving girl. I am less than two years old and I was rescued by a kind
soul in Tennessee who contacted BHRA and asked them to take me in. I am
not only beautiful, young and healthy, but I am very gentle and I have
really good manners! I like to run in the yard, play with toys, and I
am very good at retrieving a ball. I'll follow you anywhere and I like
to do just as you tell me to do! If it’s ok with you, I will come and
sit on your lap or lie on your bed. I like other dogs and play well with
them. I am housetrained and I sleep quietly in my crate at night. I'll
look forward to meeting that perfect family for me who will give me lots
of yummy food to eat so I can fill out like a Basset is supposed to be! Please contact my foster mom for
