Hi People! My name is Buddy and I am super happy to meet you! I am about 5 years old. My journey to BHRA has not been a happy one. I was rescued at a very thin 21 pounds, the unfortunate victim of animal cruelty. Luckily for me, these nice people at BHRA were awarded custody of me and they are going to take super great care of me! I get all the food and tummy rubbins I could ever want! I am a very sweet and kind boy without an ounce of aggression in me. I am like a shadow to the kids and I follow them everywhere!  They are really fun!  I love the dogs I am bunking with, but NOT the horse!  NOT the horse!  I just love everyone...well...almost everyone!  As you can see from my picture, I am still on the skinny side, but I am working really hard at eating all I can to be a super big and strong basset! You'd never believe it, but after all I have been through I still don't have any food aggression!  I am now up to about 39 pounds!  What a difference it makes when you have people taking good care of you!  My foster mom says that anyone who ends up with me is getting a great dog and a wonderful companion!  I could not agree with her more!  Please contact the Adoption Coordinator for more information on me!
