Hi!  My name is Baxter and I am glad to meet you!  Aren't I a cute little guy?  I am between one and two years old...sorry, but I lose track of time!  I showed up on my rescuers porch with a really bad cut on my neck and ear and I was bleeding.  This nice lady brought me to a vet and took really good care of me.  Now I am with my friends at BHRA, and I know I am a lucky boy!  I weigh 43 pounds and my foster mom says I get along great with her dog and we run and play and have a great time.  Sometimes we get a little too rowdy, but all they have to do is tell me to stop and I do!  I also really like her small children. When I am scolded I cower a bit.  I don't really like to be in trouble.  Like a lot of bassets I can be a bit stubborn about going out in the cold or rain.   I am house trained and crate trained, I am a good listener and I'll come when called or whistled for!  I am very affectionate and I LOVE belly rubs!  If you want to learn more about me give my fosters a call.  I know they'd love to tell you all about me!
