Arabelle

HOMETHE GIRLS

Hi People!  My name is Arabelle and I am super happy to be here.  I was found at the Montgomery Humane Shelter in pretty bad shape.  I clearly had many litters of puppies in the past.  I was heartworm positive, TEN pounds lighter than I am now and suffering from an itchy skin condition.  I am a little tiny girl and ten pounds is a lot of weight for me, but luckily my new Foster Mom has doted on me and I am looking like a healthy Basset once again!  I have been through my nasty heartworm treatments.  I have also been spayed...no more puppies for me! Now I am ready for my forever home.  Could that be you?  Let me tell you a little bit about me.  I am potty trained, very gentle and I get along great with even the grumpiest dog that I am currently bunking with except that I don't like to share my food...but with all I have been through that is understandable.  I don't counter cruise and I have not touched anything in the house that I shouldn't.  I love to lay in the sun!  I don't jump on people, but if you want to give me some petting I will wag my tail until it falls off.  Even at my worst in the shelter, when I clearly did not feel good, I wagged my tail as hard as I could for anyone even looking at me!  I am even good with children.  I am just so happy to be in a place full of love and kindness.  I would make a great family pet!  If you would like more info on me, won't you please call my Foster Mom?

Adopted by Brian and Marjorie Liston of Hueytown, Alabama!!!  Yeah sweet Arabelle!  The sky is the limit for you girl!
