Hi! People call
me Alvin. I am a
big, sturdy five year old boy and I came to BHRA from a shelter.
I
made myself right at home in my foster spot. I am well
behaved, very friendly, and I have a great personality! My
foster mom thinks I am a little too "interested" in cats so I
probably should not go to a home with them. I do terrific
around the other dogs my same size, but I for some reason I don't
really like little dogs. Maybe it's because they remind me of
cats? I have been told that I have an amazing confidence
that people don't usually see
right off the bat in us shelter dogs; but I figure, what the heck!
Life is too short to sweat the small stuff. I think I will do well in most settings!
I love to go for a walk and while I still pull a little, I do well
on leash. I just can't help it! There is so much to smell
and see on my walks, I just get excited! I learned the doggie door right away and
I have
faithfully used it since. Sometimes my foster people have to
leave me with no access to my door...but I do great! No
accidents! I really like my toys and can be a
little bit possessive of them, but who can blame me...toys rule! So are you
interested in me yet? I have finished my nasty heartworm treatments and
I am happily
settled into my foster spot. Give my foster mom a shout and ask
about me, why don't you?
Adopted by the Stanton Family of McDonough, Georgia!
GOOD GOING ALVIN!
