Hiya!! My name is Nick and I am one of 10 puppies born to my mommy Daphne who was a beautiful basset hound. I hear she's already been adopted to her new furever home and now it's my turn to try and find one!! My 'cousin' Nickie (born to Bella) and I have funny but kind of painful stories as to how we got our names! You see both our mommies had VERY full bellies of puppies and required c-sections in order to get us all out. Well, Nickie and I were both on the bottom and when the doctor used the scalpel, she nicked us both. I had a little scratch on my leg but it went away after a few days. My foster mum wanted to name me Lightning McQueen because of the lightning bolt I have on my belly but Nick it was, you know, keeping with tradition and all! I'm a lover and favored by a little girl here, so I get lots of special loving! I know how to use the doggie door but still working on my housetraining. This place is pretty cool, but I am really looking forward to a home of my
own!  My personality is still developing and it's hard for the foster family to keep up with the different details of all six of us, but give them a shout
