Howdy Partners!  My name is Haus and I am big ole beautiful Basset from the Chilton County area.  I was found in a cage outside of the Chilton County Humane Society where I was dropped off by my people when they decided they did not have a use for me anymore.  Luckily for me my rescuers called BHRA and here I am!  I came to BHRA weighing in at 90 pounds, but I have been on a diet and I look great!  I now weigh about 70 pounds.  I am somewhere around 8 years old, but I look and act much younger.  I am a gentle giant and I will greet you with the sweetest basset howl you have ever heard!  My arooooooo's are something to hear!  If you'd like to learn more about me, please contact my foster people, won't you?
