Hey People!  My name is Dexter and I am a CUTIE...at least that is what all the girls tell me.  *blush*  I am about two years old and came to BHRA an owner surrender.  My person was living in an apartment in a bad situation and needed to find a safe place for me fast.  As you might know, some Bassets like to bark, which does not mix well with apartment living.  My mom bought me a bark collar, but her neighbors kept harassing us.  I really don't even bark that much!  She was VERY sad to have to let me go, but she was worried for my safety.  Luckily these nice BHRA people stepped in and saved the day!  I am good with kids, ignore cats and I have even had some dog training.  (Imagine that...a Basset Hound with TRAINING!)  I am up to date on shots and ready for my forever home.  I am looking for a safe place to live with people who will love me as much as my mom did.  Could this be you?  If so, please contact BHRA today!
