Welcome to The New BHRA Foster Page!

For a rescue organization like BHRA, the availability of loving foster homes is the primary reason we are able to take in homeless hounds and give them a second chance at the good life.  The foster home provides food, water, shelter, love, socialization and discipline on a temporary basis while a forever home is found.  For some hounds, the foster's home is the first taste of a family life they have ever known.  For others, they have lived a good family life and for some reason found their way to BHRA.  We work closely with the foster families to make sure the dog they are matched with fits in with their family.  If you would like to learn more about becoming a foster family for BHRA, please click on the link above.  A few of our foster families have taken the time to tell you why they find fostering so rewarding.  Just click on the link above to read their stories.
