Hi........My name is Annabelle and I am one spoiled basset hound! I came into rescue as an owner surrender because my family had to move away for their job. I lived with them all my life and just celebrated my 6th birthday, so I still have lots of life and love to give. I had a canine sibling of a different breed, so you can imagine how surprised I was to discover that there are lots of dogs that look just like me! I was shy at first but it didn't take long to realize that all dogs love to play. My original family took real good care of me so I am healthy and up to date on all my medical needs. I already knew how to use the doggy door so my foster mom is very pleased that I am house broken. I am looking forward to going to a forever home that has lots of toys for me to play with...maybe a canine sibling...how about a two-legged kid to pal around with...how 'bout a fenced yard...oh...and lots of treats would be great!
