Andi

HOMETHE GIRLS

Hi everyone!  My name is Andi and I'm looking for a new family to love.  I had a family, but then babies arrived, my dad person got deployed, we moved to a new place without a fence, and well--there just wasn't much time for me anymore and my owners knew I needed a family that can give me lots of love and attention, so here I am.  I love attention--in fact I'm pretty needy for it and not shy about asking (and when you look into my pleading eyes, you will absolutely melt and cuddle me).  My fosters say that not only am I beautiful, and smart and obedient, but I am also super, super loyal, very loving and really funny--in fact my foster mom calls me a "pip"--I love to make them laugh.  But I also LOVE belly rubs and have several "tickle spots" that just beg for daily tickling.  I am bunking with three other hounds, and we all get along fine--we nap together (I am a power napper and wherever your spot on the couch is, is my favorite!) and play together and wander around the yard together.  I am beautifully housebroken with a doggie door (haven't had one accident since I came to my foster home) and love the freedom to come and go in the yard, and soak up sunshine, but I don't like being locked outside and I NEVER want to be tied out again--please!!.  My foster Mom says I have to be honest--I do have three faults--one (although I don't think it's a fault) is that I am a MAJOR counter cruiser--just the other day I snagged a real prize--a whole loaf of bread!!  The other is that I am a bully around mealtimes and will pretty aggressively try and steal another dog's food, so I am fed in my crate--I love it when my fosters yell "kennel up Andi" because I know it's time to eat. After I'm done, I sit very quietly and wait till everyone is done and out I come, happy as a clam.  I'm very sharing at treat time, tho, and have nice manners waiting my turn.  My third fault is that I don't like a lot of activity and I am not very fond of men...especially strange men.  I would love a house with a nice calm atmosphere and it would probably be best for only woman to live in this house...and for them to give me snuggle time and love.  I'm a little jealous of little ones so prefer a home without those, and while I can be jealous of other dogs, I would do just fine with one or two to hang out with and keep me company, as long as there are enough pets, and chin scritches and nose kisses to go around. They definitely need to be very passive, because I prefer the role of the dominant dog in the house.  If you are that type of family, and your pets are part of your family, I am YOUR GIRL!!!  You'll never find a more devoted, loyal and sweet charmer with an "impish" sense of humor than me, me me.  Please????
